If you’re looking for something a little unique, then you may want to take a look at our limited edition shirts... New in for AW17, the collection consists of a number of designs produced in much smaller quantities than our usual ready-to-wear range – making them perfect for those who would rather not be seen in the same shirt as somebody else.
To give you an overview on what’s on offer and why they’re special, we asked Sally Fender (our talented designer) four quick-fire questions:
Why did you choose to design this limited edition range?
I wanted to put together a small collection using detailing we don’t normally use in our main range, such as contrast stitching, contrast buttons and different variations of cuffs.
How many styles are available?
In total we have seven formal designs and 12 casual. These range from subtly coloured gingham checks to fine stripes and Oxfords – all with blue as the grounding colour. Whilst each design is unique, they’re all very wearable for the modern man.
What makes them special?
Our philosophy in the design department is that it’s all about the little details and touches. I feel strongly for the blurred edge between formal and casual. Wearing a formal shirt without a tie can easily be worn with chinos – all the shirts in the range have this adaptability, which makes them hard working wardrobe staples.
And finally, which is your favourite and why?
My personal favourite is the large bold blue and white check – a design that we would normally use for a formal shirt, but have mixed it up a bit by giving it a button-down collar and putting red contrast thread on the buttons.
